Welcome to the website of the Gaelic Society of London.
Established in 1777, the Society exists to advance public education in and to preserve the language, music, poetry and literature of the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.

The Society typically put on several events throughout the year including musical evenings, poetry recitals, talks by people with a close connection to Gaelic culture, and a quiz night.

The Society supports and promotes musical, theatrical and educational events in London related to Scottish Gaelic language, culture and history.
